Save Northiam Doctor's Surgery Car Park
This surgery servers the 4 parishes that cover Northern Rother. There is no bus route that residents can get from these villages to the surgery.
So using your car is the only way to get there. We have a large population of elderly residents, some of these that I have spoken to do not have smart phones and those who have are not sure on how to use the Ringo App. To expect people to pay these charges when many are just calling in to pick up a prescription is outrageous. We also have parents who have been encourage to use the car park so they can take their children safely to school, so they do not have to park in the road. Are these parents expected to pay twice a day The fact that Rother are proposing these charges on Rural car parks where people have no other options unless they park in the road, in the case at Northiam it will be on the A28 a really busy road. It would make more sense for Rother to collect the 500,000 pounds of outstanding debt than to imposes these charges.
