Huw Merriman, MP for the Bexhill and Battle constituency, is inviting constituents to a meeting on Saturday 30 March to update them on the latest developments on UK’s departure from the European Union.
Huw said “This week will be another challenging week in Parliament as yet further amendments to the EU Withdrawal Bill are debated by MPs. I expect by the end of this week there will be votes in Parliament which could leave us with additional or different choices.
“The continued uncertainty regarding leaving is EU is frustrating and confusing to many of my constituents. Many have written to me to express their views and concerns. I previously held a number of public meetings when we reached crucial stages in this process. We are now at another crucial stage so I want to be able to update my constituents in person this Saturday following the week’s developments in Parliament and give them an opportunity to ask questions.”
The meeting will be held at 11am on Saturday 30 March at St Augustine’s Church, St Augustine’s Close, off Cooden Drive, Bexhill-on-Sea, TN39 3AZ. Seating will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
