At its 2024 AGM last night at the lovely St Augustine's Hall in Cooden, members congratulated Paul Redstone nominated as our new Chairman.
Outgoing Chairman, Nuala Geary, had nominated Paul to take over the baton and she took the opportunity to thank him and all members present for their support and commitment to her and the Association over the past 12 months. Whilst Nuala had decided not to restand, BBCA are pleased she will continue as an Officer on the team supporting our communications with a dedicated team.
Members were also delighted to hear from our newly elected MP, Dr Kieran Mullan, in his first formal speech to the BBCA.
Kieran thanked the BBCA officer team and volunteers who helped during the challenging and arduous five weeks of campaigning. We all wished Kieran the best of luck and as the Association will continue to support and ensure we get the best for this constituency.
Photo included taken at the Count with a very relieved happy Kieran and team present.
